Arley Estate Shoot

Under the leadership of experienced game keeper Oliver Davies and his team, the Arley Shoot based at Arley Estate on the banks of the Rivern Severn, Upper Arley in Worcestershire, offers a unique experience.

Set in 1,600 acres of picturesque woodlands, banks and valleys, the terrain is perfect for top quality pheasant, partridge and duck shooting.

At the Arley Estate we are able to provide 100 to 400 bird days, over both week day shooting and Saturday’s. Accommodating 7 to 10 gun teams, single guns, small groups and full teams are all welcome.

With emphasise on quality our ducks have been fantastic in the early season this year, as well as our pheasants and Partridge from October onwards.

Full day’s itinerary

• Breakfast on arrival: Bacon Ciabatta Rolls served with Champagne and Orange Juice, Tea & Coffee
• Morning drives followed by table top lunch in the shoot room of Arley House (or shoot through with picnic snacks in the field), with wines
• Pre dinner drinks in the bespoke shoot room bar, complete with full size snooker table

Dinner in the formal dining room of Arley House: 2 courses, served with fine wines followed by coffee and liquors in front of the fire.

Our in-house chefs execute every dish with passion, flair and the utmost flavour, Using locally sourced ingredients including game, dishes are created to celebrate the seasons and delight dinners on the plate.

The Grange at Arley (Opening Septemeber 2020)

The jewel in the Arley House crown, The Grange at Arley is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian House which has been lovingly converted into 14 luxury ensuite bedroom rooms, 3 of which are dog friendly (including one accessible room).

With a variety of rooms to choose from including garden rooms with furnished outdoor patio areas, to four poster rooms and feature suites, one of which has a roll top bath, there is plenty of choice for the discerning traveller.

All rooms have luxury bathrooms, complimentary toiletries, free wifi and parking, TVs and tea & coffee making facilities.

The Grange at Arley is located 5 minutes walk from Arley House in the village of Upper Arley on The Arley Estate.

I’ve known Oliver the game keeper here for about 6 years now. We shoot regularly at other estates he manages. Arley is new under his management and Knowing his hospitality from other venues we felt confident to try a day at Arley. We’ve typically shot ducks here but the game can be varied. We’ve now had 2 fantastic days at Arley. Oliver never lets us go short of the bag even when our shooting fails to do justice with the fabulous birds he puts up. I can’t recommend a day here enough. I have had a few days at Arley this season and as with all the shoots Oliver Davies and his team run this is first class. Given it is a fairly new acquisition for them the turnaround in the shoot since their leadership began is nothing short of remarkable. High flying fast and plentiful, the birds are presented to all abilities and the whole day is run professionally, smoothly and with excellent refreshments throughout the day… highly recommended.
